The aim is to anchor sustainable food planning for the city of Innsbruck through \"multi-level governance\".<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concrete activities are<\/strong>: Networking and support of committed actors, creation of structures for sustainable food planning, support of exemplary cooperation projects for sustainable resource use and awareness raising.<\/p>\n<p>Identifying, networking and supporting actors for sustainable urban food planning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experimental field 1:<\/strong> Establish the Innsbruck market hall as a central node. Based on two concrete current challenges (waste reduction and youth nutrition education), the current management and market management are supported in this process!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experimental field 2<\/strong>: Turning one of the last large agricultural open spaces in the city into a social-ecological showcase project with integration, educational and ecological value: a world field and an project team together with the advisors of the Climate and Energy Fund dealt\nintensively with the starting project and prepared application contents for implementation.\nAfterwards, interested stakeholders were able to find out more about the project and\nexplore points of contact for the first time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oin.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/kick_off_infostunde.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Project presentation during the information hour<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>17 March 2021 Inspection of the Kettenbr\u00fccke site:\u00a0<\/em><\/span>For the first time, all those involved in\nthe implementation of the new use planned there for the world field and community garden\nmet and concretely discussed the area and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead\nthere. Present were: FeedINN project, representatives of the Sisters of Mercy Kettenbr\u00fccke,\nrepresentatives of the mayor's office, feld:schafft, Netzwerkstelle Gemeinschaftsg\u00e4rten Tirol.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>-Interviews were conducted <\/em><\/span>with stakeholders of the Innsbruck food system from\nproduction, administration, civil society, food industry. This provides deeper insights into\nchallenges, opportunities and limits - output: Analysis of a sustainable food system and food\nspace Innsbruck + Preparation and exploration of topics for the stakeholder workshops.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>-Discussions were held with tenants in the market hall<\/em><\/span>\u00a0to arrive at visions for a more\nsustainable market hall and to look for concrete approaches to waste reduction.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop: \u201e<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>Food as a field of action for sustainable and climate-neutral urban\ndevelopment in Innsbruck - dialogue, networking, strengthening<\/em><\/span>\"  was successfully held on\n29 September at the Innsbruck City Library. 37 people were present to learn about the\nresults of the stakeholder interviews and to exchange ideas in small groups. At three\nthematic tables, there were intensive discussions on where the journey for sustainable food\nplanning can continue in each case. For the topics &quot;urban community catering&quot; and &quot;urban\ngardening&quot;, it was possible to build on past discussions and projects, and stakeholders with\nyears of experience went straight into the in-depth discussion. The aim of the &quot;Urban-rural\nrelations for sustainable food systems&quot; topic table was much more exploratory, as there is\nhardly any experience in this area in Innsbruck.
