Sustainable Lifestyles

The study is carried out within the program line „Fabrik der Zukunft (Company of the Future)” – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology

Project management and implementation: Mag. Sylvia Brenzel (ASD), Mag. Martina Schmalnauer (ÖIN), DI Dr. Alfred Strigl (plenum), Univ.-Doz. Dr. Dietmar Kanatschnig, DI Dr. Florian Heiler (ÖIN)

The project aims at defining a requirement profile for sustainable product development and merchandizing by means of transdisciplinary cooperation. Another objective is the deduction of innovative and sustainable design options regarding production, processes and services.

The study focuses on the most resource intensive needs fields having the biggest potentials for sustainable development: food and leisure.

The project is characterized by its holistic approach which includes consumers as well as companies from different branches. That is how the project gets its necessary “down-to earthness” and relates to “real-life-situations”.
