Value-induced innovations

A study commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT)

Project management and implementation: DI Gisela Bosch, Mag. Monika Cerny, Univ.-Doz. Dr. Dietmar Kanatschnig, DI Dr. Alfred Strigl, Clemens Huber (ÖIN)

Austria, together with all countries all over the globe, is facing a big challenge: How can we build a society based on sustainable principles to guarantee a life in which future generations can fulfill their needs for freedom and high life standards?

In the context of the project “Value-induced innovations” the ÖIN is dealing with the question of how a transition process could be launched in Austria. This process is meant to aim at a fundamental alteration of structures, thinking and acting patterns on an overall societal level.

A special focus is on the experiences of people who have worked in different areas of sustainable development so far. Their views will be translated into concrete policy proposals and measures leading to an overall societal change.
